For ambitious beginner pilots who place value on the highest possible passive equipment safety paired with appealing performance in this glider category, the PANDION² is already excellently suited as safe paraglider initial equipment due to its simple launch behavior. The PANDION² is a symbiosis between safety, performance, and dynamics, making it ideal for stress-free flying. In terms of performance and safety, the PANDION² is one of the most balanced paragliders in the ICARO range. Especially in accelerated flight it convinces with an exceptional glide for this class. Even in rougher conditions the PANDION² gives a lot of smoothness, no matter if with open brake or fully accelerated.
The revised canopy concept with modified wing curvature and suspension points of the lines as well as the leading edge with slightly modified openings enabled a performance optimized profile. This makes the PANDION² more powerful and yet even safer than its predecessor.
Different sail material on the top and bottom sails, the mini ribs on the leech as well as new rods in the nose make the leading edge more stable and launching considerably easier, and the weight has also been noticeably reduced as a result.
We have placed particular emphasis on the manageability of the PANDION²'s descent aids. No pilot must compromise when it's time to go down quickly. The ears simply retract with a pull on the split A-risers without fluttering nervously, the sink rate increases significantly, and steep spirals are particularly easy to initiate and exit.
