Jaunais FLYMASTER LIVE DS izceļas ar diviem ekrāniem, kas pārsteigs ar lielisku redzamību arī tiešos saules staros. Instruments aprīkots ar īpaši jūtīgu augstuma mērīšanas sensoru. Ar atbilstošu SIM karti iespējama globāla mēroga 4G interneta pieejamība visā pasaulē, kas nodrošina arī uzlabotu tiešo sekošanu (livetracking). Sacensību režīmā iespējams sekot līdzi līderu pozīcijām un redzēt lidojuma punktu kalkulācijas. 

FLYMASTER LIVE DS viegli kontrolēt lidojumā, jo tas aprīkots ar pogām, kuras ērti lietojamas, nenovelkot cimdus, ērti ritināt caur ekrānu ar rituli.

Iespējams definēt augstuma ierobežojumus, sastādot lidojuma tāsku. Lidojuma laikā pieejams lidojuma šķērsgriezuma skats ekrānā, kā arī pēc lidojuma iespējams atskaņot lidojuma treku uzreiz instrumentā. 

LIVE DS ir iebūvēts FLARM raidītājs. Lai tas darbotos nepieciešama papildus abonēšana, kas paver papildus FLARM radara funkciju - iespējams redzēt apkārt esošos pilotus, kuriem arī šī funkcija ir aktīva.

Papildus jau minētajām funkcijām, pieejams arī pilnībā pielāgojams ekrāna skats, īpaši labi saskatāms, liela izmēra šrifts, balss asistents lidojma laikā,  atsevišķi pasūtāms īpašs aizsraga ietvars. Noteikti jāpiemin ietilpīgā baterija, kas ļaus bez satraukuma veikt tālus un ilgus lidojumus.
